Although most guests won’t expect or indeed miss them - ‘favours’ (gifts for guests) have become an important way for the bride and groom to say a special ‘thank you’ to all those who share their special day with them.
Instead of chocolates, sugared almonds or other decorative gifts, why not consider making a donation to Galway Hospice?
A donation to Galway Hospice via "wedding favours" is a gift from the bride and groom, through the celebration of their wedding day and the "doing without" of the entire wedding party, to others unseen and unknown who will benefit from hospice care in their moment of greatest need.
Galway Hospice depends on voluntary contributions to ensure that we can continue providing the highest possible level of care to patients and families at what for them is a very difficult time.
Above are photos of the actual Wedding Favours card you will receive.
Inside reads as follows - "Thank you for being part of our special day. In honour and appreciation of our guests, a contribution has been made to Galway Hospice Foundation".
Outside reads as follows - "This donation will help Galway Hospice to provide Hospice Home Care and Day Care services to patients and families throughout Galway city and county".
