Open Day

Galway Hospice Foundation held an ‘Open Day’ for nursing professionals on Friday 26th May 2006 to mark International Nurses’ Week.  The objectives of the Open Day were as follows:
• To explore opportunities for sharing knowledge and resources for the benefit of best practice in the delivery of patient care
• To develop stronger networking / links between nursing professionals throughout the region
• To raise awareness of the palliative care services available to the region
• To afford an opportunity for viewing of Galway Hospice facilities

This event was organised by the Galway Hospice Education & Practice Development Committee.
