Gerry Molloy of Galway Hospice recently visited MAPFRE ASSISTANCE to receive a cheque for €400 from the company. These funds were raised through a Coffee Morning Bake Off held at MAPFRE, for Galway Hospice.
Pictured at the cheque presentation were:
Front Row (l-r): Lea Cherry, Monica Enereh, Gerry Molloy (Galway Hospice) and Shane Smith.
Back Row (l-r): Frida Andersson, Dolores Kilroe, Andrew Lawless and Michael Gannon.
A sincere thank you to everyone at MAPFRE for this generous donation. MAPFRE have been strong supporters of Galway Hospice for many years now and we greatly appreciate their support.
Galway Hospice still depends hugely on voluntary contributions and this donation will help us to continue providing our fully-accredited specialist palliative care services to adults and children with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses throughout Galway city and county, and on the adjoining islands, as well as providing support to their families and carers free of charge.
Without the continued financial support from companies like MAPFRE, we could not continue to provide these essential services free of charge to the people of Galway.
Thank you to everyone at MAPFRE for their support.
