Just before the school closed for the summer this year, Galway Hospice was presented with a cheque for €1,595.66 by staff and students of Coláiste Éinde. The schools 2016/2017 LCVP students raised this money by conducting their version of a ‘Coffee Morning’, which they chose as their Enterprise Project.
In place of coffee, the students served flavoured milk and water, along with treats and baked goods, some of which were even baked by students!
Pictured are the students with Ms. Michelle Britton (left, teacher) and Mr. Tom Fox (centre, LCVP co-ordinator) presenting the cheque to Orla Feeney (right, Galway Hospice Events Co-ordinator).
Staff and students at Coláiste Éinde have been loyal supporters of Galway Hospice for many years now, through their Coffee Mornings and other fundraising initiatives, and to date they have raised over €20,000 for Galway Hospice!
Well done and thanks to everyone at Coláiste Éinde for your continuous support of Galway Hospice, and apologies for the delay in posting this cheque presentation!
